CURRENT NEWS: callas pdfToolbox Server 3 successfully installed at ETH Zurich

Today, 3f8h.net installed a pdfToolbox Server from callas software in the Reprography/Graphics Center of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH Zurich).

The pdfToolbox Server is mainly utilized to correctly separate PDFs from office programs for subsequent output to digital printing machines as well as for implementation of color space transformations. One great advantage of the pdfToolbox is that, as desired, black graphics, texts as well as grey scale pictures from RGB-office data are only transferred via the CMYK black channel.

The pdfAutomator included in the pdfToolbox Server is also used to process all arising data on a hot-folder basis.
